Enable Bitwarden on Android Browsers

This is a quick tutorial on how to get Bitwarden working on Android, using the kiwi browser, chrome, edge, etc.

This is working on Android 10, possibly will work on other versions. This is based on my own phone experience and after reading GitHub trouble shooting.

First off, you don’t need an extension. Disable the Bitwarden extension if you have it enabled. Second, you’ll need to change some settings. Third, you can change googles password manager to your liking. I won’t go into details about that.

1. Download Bitwarden app from the Google play store. Sign in.

2. Enable auto fill in android settings.

And that’s it. You should be able to get the auto fill icon on all sites.

Final note. On Android there is a known issues about battery optimization and Bitwarden not playing along well together. If Bitwarden becomes slow and laggy, this should be corrected.
