There are 9 amino acids that play a vital role in the body, but one of those is toxic in adults. We subtract Histidine for this reason. The real total number of essential amino acids is eight, amino acids are isoleucine, leucine, lysine, methionine, phenylalanine, threonine, tryptophan and valine. These eight play an essential role among adults. 

It’s great for vegetarians and everyone else who’s able to eat animal by products, amino acids rich foods are found in egg-white (proteins) and cows milk (casein). These foods are the most balanced in proteins, and are the most likely to  meet the daily value requirements. 

But it not impossible for vegans, to meet the daily recommended value, these combos will complement with one another, rice and lentils, corn tortillas and beans, rice and back-eyed peas. 

In general, grains are low in lysine and threonine, while legumes are low in methionine and tryptophan. However they compensate on another.
