Welcome to my website! My name is Carlos Vega. As a Phlebotomy Technician and student, I am working towards my long-term goal of obtaining my Medical Laboratory Sciences Associate of Applied Science (AAS) Medical Laboratory Technician degree. I have worked over three years, assisting and drawing blood for a nurse practitioner’s office and have received all my general education from Salt Lake Community College.
This e-portfolio contains my highest work I have created and earned furthermore it serves as a foundation to live to my fullest potential and to achieve my passion. Throughout my website, you will find my photography and quotes that best illustrate who I am.
As most, many of you may not have recognized the cover photo for this page. This photo is not just some trees; it’s a colony of trees that form a giant tree. The Pando (tree) is the most massive known living organism on earth, and these types of things peak my interest.
Growing up, I found many things fascinating. Breaking into my toys was one of them because they contained motors and wires from which I created different gadgets.
In high school, I created my website and found my passion. In human anatomy and physiology, we learned of the human body and the psychology involved. The classroom had four students, and this enabled us to carry out handfuls of distinctions and laboratory experimentation with blood and urine samples. The next few years, I took all of the courses I the school offered for science before graduating with a class size of 80 students.
Good to see someone making the most of life and sharing their experiences with others. The cave paintings are facinating. Keep exploring.
The old saying ‘nothing good ever came out of the city’ must be true.
You’re doing well.
Thanks for the heads up, not too concerned about that now.
Does your website have a contact page? I’m having trouble locating it but, I’d like to send you an email. I’ve got some suggestions…
